Bob grew up in New Jersey, the 2nd son of Norm and Anna Jonkman. He attended Eastern Christian schools, graduating in 1966 - a great year. He went on to Montclair State College, where he majored in English education.

Upon graduating from Montclair he began a teaching career that spanned 17 years, teaching in Christian schools from Orlando, Florida to Sumas, Washington, and various points in between. It was in one of these, Hollandale, Minnesota that he met Bev. They were married in 1980.

For the past 14+ years he has been working at Thunderbird Supply Company,  currently in the IT department.

While I do not remember this picture being taken, I have it on good authority (the back of the picture) that this is indeed me.  

On our honeymoon we enjoyed an excursion at Pike Place Market, Seattle.

I still love the beach, and am still a bit "pudgy".

I am 2nd from the left I think.
The rest are my 2 brothers and sisters, and the Jonkman cousins.
